“Erin inspired me to volunteer. I loved how honest she was with the kids she was teaching. She listened to their fears and gave them a solid plan for self-protection. I’m a parent, and I would love it if we could protect our kids all the time. But the truth is, predators find ways to get children alone, and that is when they need the protection the most. When I volunteer with TJCF, I feel like I’m part of a community that gives children permission and skills to protect themselves. TJCF has enriched my life in ways I didn’t imagine when I first volunteered. I have met so many wonderful people doing this work. I have gained personal empowerment.”
