"I know that you both have supported non-profit organizations who work to recover missing children. One would think that your interest in rescuing missing children would dictate that you also fund the law enforcement necessary to investigate and prosecute child exploitation cases that have proven to result in the rescue of countless more child victims. Sadly, it appears S.1738, The Combating Child Exploitation Act, is not a priority for your colleagues and that the Senate is more apt to protect its partisan politics than America’s children..."

"Yesterday, we traveled 3 1/2 hours to the small rural town of Randolf in the beautiful green mountains of Vermont. We went to attend the 7th day Vigil of missing 12 year old Brooke Bennett. We came to support and give “hope” to a family like ours in great pain of the unknown.  But only moments after our arrival, our emotions changed to raw grief and outrage, as we were told that only 30 minutes before Brooke’s body was found in the back yard of her uncle’s home."
